San Diego Real Estate

According to Steven Thomas with the San Diego HousingReport, it appears that the stay-at-home restrictions and its impact on demand for real estate in San Diego County reached the bottom on April 21st. Since then, the number of pending sales in the County increased by 6%, which is the first increase since the restrictions went into effect in March.

Thomas indicates, "With demand increasing at a faster pace than the supply of homes, the Expected Market Time (the amount of time from beginning to market. a home to opening escrow) dropped from 88 days to 85 days, indicating San Diego remains a slight Seller’s Market". (A balanced market is between 60 and 90 days.)

We will continue watching these indicators closely and will update you on what's happening throughout the County. If you have specific questions about your specific neighborhood or an area of interest, please call me to discuss.
