We have officially entered the holiday market in San Diego, typically the time of year where fewer homes are listed for sale and buyers pause their hunt for the perfect home.


Although pending sales are projected to steadily drop from now through the end of the year, it will be a busier end of the year compared to those in years past, as illustrated in the chart below:

With extremely low inventory throughout the county, you may ask yourself: "how is this possible?"


The answer is simple and consistent with our reporting over the last 6 months: buyer demand, fueled by historically low-interest rates, continues to push pending sales higher. We expect this trend to carry us through at least the first 6 months of 2021.
